Museum of STEAM Innovative Projects made by First Lego League Challenge Teams from around the world. Every year, FIRST® LEGO® League releases a new Challenge based on a real-world, scientific theme. Friendly competition is at the heart of Challenge, as teams of students ages 9-16 engage in research, problem-solving, coding, and engineering – building and programming a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a robot game.

Here you’ll find a collection of Research and Innovative projects made by FLL Teams from around the world. Projects are arranged by every year category.

2023-2024 Masterpiece

How we share our own hobbies and interests with others can be an expression of our creative selves. People who work in the arts can teach us a lot about how to communicate, how to engage, and how to entertain an audience of any size. What can you learn from museums, theaters, and films that can help you share what you love to do?

2022-2023 Superpowered

From the machines that move us to the electronics that connect us to the ways we power our cities and towns, energy is essential in our lives. Have you thought about where energy comes from? How it’s generated? How it gets to you? How much you’re using?

2021-2022 Cargo Connect

Everyone depends on the transportation of goods for their daily needs.  How can you improve the transportation of products? Identify a specific problem within this theme that you want to solve. Then, create or improve a piece of equipment, a technology, or a method of transportation to solve your specific problem.
2020-2021 Re Play

All around us, there are opportunities to play and be active — from open parks to cement courts, in our classrooms, and even when we’re waiting in line. But more and more people are not active enough. Playing makes being active more fun. You get creative when you want to play, and it’s this creativity—your creativity—that can help motivate us to be more active.
2019-2020 City Shaper

Architects design and construct buildings. They combine science and art to make buildings and structures for their clients.  How can we shape a better future for everyone? It will take teamwork and imagination. Are you ready to build a better tomorrow together?

2018-2019 Into Orbit

Your Project assignment for the INTO ORBIT season is to identify a physical or social problem faced by humans during long duration space exploration within our Sun’s solar system and propose a solution. What does it take to live on a space station or travel to another planet? Can you and your team create the critical innovation that will get earthlings to Mars?

2017-2018 Hydro Dynamics

People use water every day, but they don’t think
much about how and why they use water. Whether
it’s directly (drinking or washing) or indirectly
(manufacturing the products they use or producing
food or energy), humans have a lot of different water
needs. Your Project challenge for the HYDRO
DYNAMICSSM season is to improve the way people
find, transport, use, or dispose of water.

2016-2017 ANIMAL ALLIES

For ANIMAL ALLIES, think of people and
animals as allies in the quest to make life better
for everyone. Sometimes people help animals
and sometimes animals help people. Your
Project mission this season is to make our
interactions with animals better – hopefully
better for all of us

Accomplished work.
